Church services over Christmas 2011
We warmly invite you and all the family to join us for our Christmas services this year.
Highlights:
December 4th 11.00 am Christingle Service
A regular favourite! The reason for the season is celebrated and children join in with making Christingles. What’s a Christingle? Aha – you wait and see! During the service we will make our donations which support children attending St Matthews School in Rwanda.
December 18th 6.15 pm Carols by Candlelight
A traditional carol service with the Warbleton Brass Band followed by mince pies, mulled wine and chestnuts.
December 21st 8.00 pm Carols on the Green
Meet together outside Osborne House and sing out the Christmas favourites with our neighbours! Followed by refreshments in the Community Room at Rushlake Green.
Christmas Eve 4.00 pm Crib Service
With a real donkey! A must for all the family – why not get the children to come dressed as nativity characters?.
Christmas Eve 11.15 pm Holy Communion
Come together to reflect on the wondrous expectation of the birth of Jesus. With carols by candlelight.
Christmas Day 8.00 am Holy Communion
Get the turkey in the oven and start Christmas Day with a time of humble gratitude.
Christmas Day 11.00 am Family Service
A joyful and less formal time of praise with the whole family in mind.
